Windows 9 Will Be Here April 2015 - Microsoft

The rumours are in: Microsoft is planning to unveil Windows 9 around April 2015 but will announce the release at its Build 2014 developer conference. This will be part of the company’s Threshold plans, says Paul Thurrott, all part of the many updates expected from Microsoft.
Although we don’t know what changes will be made to Windows 9, it is likely that the company will use the branding in order to shift attention away from the negativity surrounding the Windows 8 operating system. Reportedly, ‘Metro 2.0′ will be inside the new OS and this could be the thing to improve Microsoft’s app world and tile design. There has also been a rumour that the ‘Start’ menu will be back for Windows 9 but it could be that we see that sooner as part of the Windows 8.1 update later this year.
Micrsoft is apparently in the last stages of planning for Windows 9 and work will probably start once the announcement has been made at the Build 2014 developer conference, no doubt once it has created some hype around the new OS by revealing some of the planned changes.
The hype will certainly be welcome and coupled with some innovation, hopefully Microsoft can make a success of Windows 9, perhaps where Windows 8 failed. Although there will be a Windows 8.1 update, it seems that all focus is pointing towards a new future in Windows 9.

Black Christmas!

I wonder why there won't be steady power supply for at least one hour on a special day like this, atleast in Enugu. If neither NEPA nor the so-called private power company can solve this problem, I think I can. #solarenergyonmymind

Bloody Christmas! #Godsaveyourchildren

Three passengers died late Monday along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, while 18 others including children were injured.
The lone accident, which occurred at Obada-Oko in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State involved a Toyota Hiace passenger bus with registration number (LAGOS) FKJ 07 AS.
While three females died on the spot, those who were injured included seven children, seven women as well as four male passengers inside the bus.
An eyewitness told Daily Sun that the occupants of the Toyota bus were members of the Celestial Church, who were on their way to the Celestial City, Imeko for the annual prayer congress.
The Itori Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Fatai Bakare, who confirmed the accident, said 21 persons, four males, 10 females and seven children were travelling in the bus when the accident occurred.
Commenting on the cause of the lone crash, the FRSC Commander, linked the cause of the accident to excessive speeding, adding that one of the tyres of the bus burst while on top speed.
“Since he was on top-speed after the tyre of the vehicle burst, he could not control the bus, hence the vehicle somersaulted, killing three on the spot.”
Bakare said while corpses of deceased passengers had been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, Id-Aba, Abeokuta, those who were injured were receiving treatments at the same hospital.
Wishing all my brethren a merry Christmas. #Bombaysayso

Nani on the bid from Juve

Juventus are set to make a move for Manchester United winger Nani when the transfer window reopens next month, according to the Metro.
The Portugal international, who is in his seventh season with United, has featured rather regularly under new manager David Moyes, and even penned a new five-year contract in September though speculation regarding his future remains rife – something which the Serie A champions are hopeful of capitalising on.
Should they not be able to land the 27 year old in January, they are prepared to make a renewed effort at the end of the season
Antonio Conte’s side are keen to get their season back on track after crashing out of the Champions League following their 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray in Istanbul last Wednesday.http://www.soccernews.com/
